For BC-DMT & LCAT Licensure
People who become therapists usually feel that the profession chose them rather than they chose their profession. Being a therapist is a calling. During the 12 years of supervising graduate students and therapists I have learned so much about the uniqueness and styles each person brings to the theory and practice of their work. Supervision is a key component in the training of becoming a therapist. I am excited for you to bring yourself and humanness to this practice. If you are a therapist in need of supervision to obtain your LCAT licensure or if you are a dance therapist seeking to become board certified, you are invited to join forces to support your vision in your professional identity and professional goals.
Supervision can be frontal or by teleconferencing in the comfort of your own home. I will accompany you in the process and answer your questions regarding your work. My knowledge and experience both working within an institutionalized setting and in private practice offer you an insight that combines exploration of varying approaches to therapeutic settings. This affords the opportunity to explore different interventions, goals, and possibilities for different populations based on your therapeutic path. My experiences include working with a variety of populations including, but not limited to the elderly population, mental disorders, patients in medical settings, women and children. It is my honor to contribute to this sacred work of teaching and guiding therapists. My hope is that by sharing my practices and resources, I help inspire you to do the work you were called to do.
Individual sessions are 60 minutes for $50-$100. Sliding is available upon request.
